PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Announced On GT.TV

The oft-rumored Super Smash Brothers-style PS3 game is now a reality. Sony announced PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale on GT.TV tonight. Set to release during the holiday season of this year, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will star characters like Sly Cooper, Kraots, Sackboy, Fat Princess, Helghast Troopers, Sweet Tooth, Kratos, and much more.

According to the President of the game’s developer, SuperBot Entertainment, the game will feature characters, environments and themes from the PlayStation Universe. SuperBot has also said that they have not taken third-party characters off the table, so there’s a chance that we’ll see the likes of Nathan Hale, Solid Snake, and other characters in the final game. It will also feature a three-tiered super moves for every character in the game, with level 3 attacks being the most powerful and destructive.

Levels and environments included in the game are from each of the PS Universe including:

• Patapon
• God of War
• Killzone
• and much more.
