Aliens: Colonial Marines Screenshots Feature Gameplay And Xenomorph Swarms

Back in April, I wrote a preview of the upcoming multiplatform Aliens: Colonial Marines. Today SEGA and Gearbox provided us with screenshots that feature gameplay, the Marine unit, and 100% more vicious Xenomorphs.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is considered canon in the Alien franchise, and is steeped in James Cameron’s original vision of claustrophobic, dark, and eerie atmosphere mixed with Gearbox’s batte-tested experience in creating excellent first-person shooters. (Borderlands, Brothers in Arms)

There will be more information incoming regarding Aliens: Colonial Marines as we go forward in 2012. We’ll be sure to keep you guys updated as soon as we get them. The game is set to release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the Spring of 2012.
