Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile Coming to iOS Devices

Last night, Capcom confirmed that their latest crossover fighting game Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile is indeed coming to iOS devices this summer. This should satisfy fighting game afficionados, allowing them to fight as either Street Fighter or Tekken characters on their iPhones and iPads.

So far, Street Fighter x Tekken has been released on PS3, Xbox 360. There’s also a PlayStation Vita version in the works.

Street Fighter x Tekken Mobile will feature a completely redesigned control scheme, a brand-new user interface, new game modes and new tag-team mechanics (especially on iOS devices).

Unfortunately, there’s been no word on the exact number of characters who will make an appearance in this mobile version; though Capcom has said that so far, Ryu, Chun-Li, Kazuya and Nina are confirmed to be in the game.

Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile will be compatible with iOS 5 or higher, and will be playable on iPhone 4 and 4S, iPod touch 4th Gen or later, iPad 2 and the New iPad. No word on an Android release yet. We’ll keep you guys updated once we hear from Capcom.
