The Amazing Spider-Man Game Coming To iOS And Android

Great news for Spider-Man fans all over the world. Gameloft and Marvel have teamed up to bring the official The Amazing Spider-Man videogame to iOS and Android devices alongside the upcoming film!

Gameloft has said that they have been working closely with Marvel studios in order to bring justice and stays true to the world of The Amazing Spider-Man film that’s releasing this summer.

If you can remember, Gameloft and Marvel have worked collaboratively on Spider-Man games before with the successful Spider-Man: Total Mayhem for iOS. And it looks like both companies want to take everything that was great about Total Mayhem and make it bigger and better.

The Amazing Spider-Man for iOS and Android is a 3D action game that allows players to explore New York City, face criminals with a comprehensive battle system, as well as discover and gain more powers that can help Spider-Man take down the criminal element that’s terrorizing the city.

Take down bad guys with Spider-Man’s trademark acrobatic combat.

Andreea Enache-Thune, Marvel’s SVP of Games and Digital Distribution is excited for the game’s upcoming release and praises Marvel’s relationship with Gameloft.

The Amazing Spider-Man is set to release at the same time as the film on July 3, 2012. It will be available on certain smartphones, iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.
