The Dark Knight Rises Game Released For iOS And Android

Gameloft recently announced that they’ve released The Dark Knight Rises for iOS and Android devices. Based on this summer’s biggest blockbuster, The Dark Knight Rises has become perhaps Gameloft’s most technically and visually stunning game yet. Set eight years after the end of the second film, the new game pits Batman against Catwoman and Bane, the Dark Knight’s most dangerous foe in years.

Featuring console-quality production values, gameplay, and graphics, The Dark Knight Rises gives players an open-world Gotham City to traverse, hundreds of enemies to take down (with a unique combat system), story missions, and dozens of random events that allows players to feel like a vigilante superhero.As well players will be able to interact with key characters from the film (Selina Kyle, Lucius fox, Commisionner Gordon, Bane) and more.

Random Events include:

  • Hostage situations,
  • Bomb squad missions,
  • jailbreaks and car chases

Since the game features an open-world Gotham, players can traverse the city using a the batpod, the grapnel gun, and even batman’s cape to glide towards his destination. Batman can engage his opponents using stealth takedowns or with an upgradable and dynamic fight system that incorporates cinematic moves and gadgets. (Think Arkham City and you get an idea how fights flow.)

The Dark Knight Rises comes with a file size of 819 MB, and costs $6.99 and can be purchased from the iTunes App Store or Google Play on Androids.
