Capcom Releases Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Information and Screenshots at TGS
Recently, Capcom released a ton of info as well as a number of oh-so-beautiful screenshots for their upcoming Wii and 3DS game Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate at TGS. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate takes advantage of both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS’ unique inputs to allow players to experience the familiar hunt in new and immersive ways.
For example, players will be able to use the touch screen functionality on both systems to read through in-game books, choose weapons with ease, browse their field maps during battle, and even play unique mini-games. The game also recieved a nice graphical update making the once stunning game even more of a beauty to look at.

The Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate campaign features over 200+ missions, challenging boss fights, new equipment, and weapon upgrades; but what’s really interesting about Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is that it allows up to four players to play locally between Wii U and Nintendo 3DS players using both systems’ wi-fi capabilities. As well, owners of both game systems can use the same game save between the consoles, just like the cross-play functionalities found on the PS3 and the PS Vita.
For those who like to play Monster Hunter on the go, finding nearby players is a lot easier now using the Nintendo 3DS’ search feature. As well, 3DS players can excnahge guild cards (with their info) with other players using the 3DS’ Street Pass feature.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be launching on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS across North America in March 2013. In the meantime, check out these screenshots straight from Tokyo Game Show:
