Human Vs. Dinosaur FPS Primal Carnage Releases October 29
Reverb Publishing and developer Lukewarm media announced that their human vs. dinosaur FPS titled Primal Carnage is to be released for PC’s on Monday October 29, 2012. In case this is your first time hearing about Primal Carnage, our friends over at Twinfinite have covered the game extensively. And I have to say, from what I’ve played at PAX Prime as well as Twinfinite’s live previews, the game looks and plays amazing.
Primal Carnage is pretty much the game that first person shooter and Jurassic Park fans have been waiting for. No, seriously; if you’ve ever wondered what you would do if you were face-to-face with a hungry Velociraptor, then this is the game for you. It’s a class-based online multiplayer where players can choose between playing as humans or the dinosaurs.
Hit the jump for a full breakdown of Primal Carnage’s features.
Primal Carnage key features include:
- Rendered in stunning beauty using the Unreal Engine, players will wage war between man and beast in five large, open and varied environments
- 10 playable classes (five Human, five Dinosaur), each with unique skills and abilities
- Play from both first-person (Human) and third-person (Dinosaur) perspectives providing a contrasting gameplay experience for both teams
- Multiple achievements and an extensive DLC roadmap
If Primal Carnage sounds like your cup of tea, then know that you can actually pre-order the game now on the official website, as well as digital delivery service Steam and retailers like GameStop. In addition, players who pre-order the game can access the beta (that’s ongoing now) and will receive an exclusive skin when the game arrives in stores.
